Testimonials

Ted has been an innovative and independent leader within the community for many years, and has an impressive list of accomplishments to support his candidacy. I support Ted’s vision of a progressive and prosperous community, and am confident in his ability to inspire change and govern collaboratively.

“I have seen in Ted Prior some of the most important aspects of character that a man can have....I have also dealt with Ted in his work milieu and I have found him to be creative, thoroughly competent and completely incorruptible. He has a remarkable ability to reduce large and unsolvable problems into smaller solvable problems and is a devotee of the exercise of common sense.”

"Ted has Squamish deep in his heart.  It is a heart of three genuinely applied qualities: honesty, positivism and community (caring) development.  Don't miss the opportunity to have Ted represent your interest, integrity, and desire for good governance."

Ted is a thoughtful and pragmatic man who will get things done. He's been involved in numerous groups and boards over the past 20 years, and knows the important issues of the community. He also has the time and dedication to be an effective community leader.

Ted is hard working, passionate about our community and wants to see all of our potential come to fruition. He listens to the issues before making a decision - raising 4 daughters will do that! Ted understands that our planning, building and engineering departments can function far more efficiently and will work to have those changes made. Economic Development is a priority with Ted: continue to remove red tape at city hall, make it easier for people that want to open a business and develop land here, keep the oceanfront project moving forward, revitalize the mamquam blind channel, focus on downtown. All of this will create more jobs which is what we need here for a healthy community.

Ted is one of my first choices to be a member of council . His back ground knowledge of downtown Squamish is quite historical and coulorfull due to his past experiances. I have sat on the Squamish estuary board with him for over 15 years and have see his ideas and contribution to this town.

He shares a vision of the future with the majority of the public as to what we can be.

Every now and then, a special person comes forward to serve their community in a different way. Ted Prior has been quietly serving Squamish for over 30 years on the front line of work committees, planning committees but most often actually doing what he says he will do. … Ted has now taken the big step to serve his community on Council. We could not do any better than have this special person making important decisions on our behalf.

“I met Ted when we moved up from Vancouver five years ago and beyond his warmth and genuine nature, I was blown away by his enthusiasm for the infusion of new blood into Squamish and everything we bring to his community of 35 years. Ted’s knowledge and history of involvement with many aspects of this town, combined with his endless positivism and energy make him a great Councillor.
